JESSICA PRATT

An internationally acclaimed English-born Australian operatic coloratura soprano, she is considered one of today’s foremost interpreters of some of bel canto’s most challenging repertoire. Trained in Italy, she made her European debut in 2007 as Lucia (Lucia di Lammermoor). Since then, she has been most recognised for her portrayal of Lucia, which she has performed over 100 times worldwide. She has collaborated with leading conductors such as Daniel Oren, Nello Santi, Kent Nagano, Sir Colin Davis, Christian Thielemann, Donato Renzetti, Pier Giorgio Morandi, Carlo Rizzi, Antonino Fogliani, Wayne Marshall and David Parry at major opera theatres and festivals around the world including Arena di Verona, Gran Teatre del Liceu, Teatro alla Scala, Teatro di San Carlo, The MET, Opera Australia, ROH (London), Hamburg State Opera, Teatro Real Madrid and Théâtre des Champs-Elysées. She has received numerous awards and is the winner of numerous international vocal competitions, including the Australian Singing Competition and the Vienna State Opera Award. Moreover, she has a wide discography. This is the first time she performs at the Greek National Opera.
