MANOS KOKKONIS

Tenor, born in Athens. He is a graduate of the Department of Music Studies (Aristotle University, Thessaloniki) with first-class honours. He studied classical singing (Municipal Conservatory, Kalamata) with a full scholarship for the years 2021-2022 and received his diploma with “unanimous distinction” and first prize (Christina Giannakopoulou’s class). He has performed Giuseppe (La traviata, 2024), Aeneas (Dido and Aeneas, 2024), Menalkas (Galatea, world premiere 2024), Vasily (Prince Ivan and the Firebird, 2023). As a soloist, he has appeared in opera galas in Greece and abroad. He has attended masterclasses with Marilyn Petersen, Fabio Centanni, Massimo Morelli, Ulrich Rademacher, Aris Christofellis, Dimitri Platanias, Tassis Christoyannis, etc. Between 2019-2024 he was a soloist in the Hellenic Navy Band, participating in numerous events at the Presidential Mansion, as well as in cultural events of public and private institutions in Greece and abroad. Since 2021, he has been collaborating regularly with the Greek National Opera.
