Greek-Canadian dramatic soprano, she has enjoyed a breakout year in 2023, receiving critical acclaim for her portrayal of the title role in Iphigénie en Tauride (Maria Callas centennial celebration, Pallas Theatre, Athens). Following her Greek debut, she triumphed in Boston Baroque’s production of the same opera. Hailed as “incandescent” by the Boston Globe, her gripping interpretation further solidified her reputation as an exceptional singing actress. Other notable opera engagements include Vitellia (La clemenza di Tito, Taipei Symphony Orchestra), Fedra (Handel’s Teseo, Theater an der Wien), Leïla (Les Pêcheurs de perles, Opera Holland Park), Zerlina (Don Giovanni, Guangzhou China) and Vanessa (Barber’s Vanessa) at the Opéra-Théâtre de Metz Métropole, where she also sang Gräfin Madeleine (Richard Strauss’ Capriccio), marking her debut in the lyric dramatic Fach. In 2020 she made her debut at the Teatro Regio, Turin, as Bice (Korngold’s Violanta) and participated in Guangzhou Opera’s ten-year anniversary gala, performing Wagner’s Wesendonck Lieder. Moreover, in 2020 she founded Living Opera, an art and technology platform that supports emerging artists.
