CORINNE WINTERS

American soprano, who makes her Greek National Opera debut in both title roles of Gluck’s Iphigénie en Aulide and Iphigénie en Tauride, she has performed over thirty leading roles at major opera houses around the world. Corinne’s debut at the Salzburg Festival in Barrie Kosky’s production of Kát'a Kabanová garnered international acclaim, including an International Classical Music Award for Best Opera DVD. In addition to Salzburg, Corinne has performed her signature role of Káťa at Seattle Opera, Teatro dell’Opera di Roma, Grand Théâtre de Genève, Janáček Brno International Festival, Stuttgart State Opera, and Opéra de Lyon. Recent operatic highlights include leading roles in Iphigénie en Aulide and Iphigénie en Tauride (Aix-en-Provence Festival), Rusalka (Vienna State Opera), Moniuszko’s Halka (Teatro Real, Madrid), Madama Butterfly and Dialogues des Carmélites (Teatro dell’Opera di Roma), as well as La traviata (Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, London). She was an International Opera Awards nominee for Best Female Singer in 2023.
