MAXIM KLONOVSKIY

Baritone, he was born in Taganrog, Russia. From 2015 he lives permanently in Greece. He studied clarinet in Taganrog (1997-2003) and singing with Christina Yannakopoulou at the Athenaeum Conservatory (Athens, 2008-2012). During 2012-2014 he studied at the Opera Studio of the Greek National Opera with Nicolas Vassiliou, Christina Yanna- kopoulou, Despina Kalafati, Angelo Simo and Rosa Poulimenou. In addition, he studied singing with Lyudmila Bondarenko at the Conservatory of Neo Psychiko (diploma with honours, 2017). He has attended masterclasses with Dimitri Kavrakos, Cheryl Studer, Dimitri Platanias and Marina Shaguch. Since 2012 he has been collaborating with the Chorus of the Greek National Opera as an additional chorister. Moreover, he partici- pates in various music events and performances. In 2019 he took part in the European tour of Verdi’s Requiem as a member of the MusicAeterna chorus under the baton of Teodor Currentzis.
