MYRSINI MARGARITI

Multifaceted Greek soprano with a wide repertoire that ranges from Baroque to contemporary music. After her studies at the Mozarteum Salzburg, she debuted as Serpetta (La finta giardiniera) at the Landestheater Salzburg, following performances in Europe, Mexico, Indonesia, China (Festival BBC Proms, Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Belgium / Bozar), etc. Between 2006 and 2009 she was a resident soloist of the Halle Opera (Germany). She has performed, among others, such roles as Ilia (Idomeneo), Alcina (Handel International Festival, Halle, Germany), Fillide (Aminta e Fillide) and Anastasio (Giustino) at the Handel International Festival in Göttingen, Morgana (Alcina) and Micaëla (Carmen, GNO) at the Athens Epidaurus Festival, Countess (Le nozze di Figaro) and Baroness (Leporella by Giorgos Kouroupos) at the Greek National Opera, Bellezza (Il trionfo del tempo e del disinganno, Valetta Baroque Festival), Armida (Rinaldo), Angelica (Orlando furioso), Elle (La Voix humaine by Poulenc, Little Theatre of Ancient Epidaurus). Moreover, she has given numerous concerts. She has been teaching systematically.
