She studied theatre at the Conservatoire national supérieur d’art dramatique (CNSAD), as well as classical, Indian and jazz voice, Byzantine music and improvisation. In Paris, she worked as an actress with prominent directors of the French theatre such as Mathias Langhoff, Philippe Adrien, Alain Olivier, Patrick Sommier, Jean-François Perret, Michel Deutsch (Théâtre de l’Odéon, Théâtre de Gennevilliers, Théâtre Bobigny, Théâtre national de Strasbourg, Festival d’Avignon, Théâtre de la Tempête). She has directed five short films awarded at the international festivals of Angers, Créteil, Tampere, Cannes, Oberhausen, Drama and Thessaloniki. In Greece, she works in theatre and cinema. In 2000 she was awarded the Shooting Stars Prize in Berlin. She has released the albums Eleusis Tales of the Holy and Photini’s Delos. She directed the full-length documentary film The Downtown Refuge, which toured in major international festivals. She is dedicated to musical composition and song in combination with theatrical speech. She has collaborated with the National Theatre of Greece, GNO, Athens Epidaurus Festival and Karolos Koun Art Theatre.
