Rafaela Tsobanoudi

Born in Serres, she graduated from the Drama School of the National Theater of Northern Greece and the Department of Music Science and Art of the University of Macedonia (specialising in cello and contemporary music teaching methods). She studied music theory and piano at the State Conservatory of Thessaloniki and the Conservatory of the Society of Friends of Letters and Arts. She works as an actress, musician and performer. She has collaborated with the GNO, Thessaloniki Concert Hall, National Theatre of Northern Greece and Eleusis Festival. She has attended classical voice and dance lessons, as well as seminars on music interpretation, acting, directing and choreography. She was a member of the U(R)TOPIAS Academy of Choreography by Aerites Dance Company. She engages in vocal research and in combining the arts as a performative tool. Her artistic focus includes choreographic representation of contemporary music, composing new dance scores, adaptability, and exploring utopia.
