DIMITRA KASTELLOU

Born in Thessaloniki, she is a graduate of the Andromachi Kafantari Professional Dance School and holds a master’s degree in choreography (Palucca University of Dance, Dresden). Her career as a choreographer, dancer and actress spans over 50 productions in Greece and abroad, having participated in operas, operettas, musicals, dance festivals, concerts, Eurovision Song Contest, theatre productions, television series, commercials and music videos. She has collaborated with such choreographers as Matilde Rubio, Silvana Schröder, Yoshiko Waki, Nicole Meier, Jana Ressel, Ron Howell, Aline Nari, Sebastian Borde, Sofia Spyratou, Cynthia Fridas, Valia Papachristou, Konstantina Kastellou, Fokas Evangelinos and such stage directors as Giancarlo del Monaco, Graham Vick, Renata Scotto, Nicolas Trees, Paul-Émile Fourny, Wolf Widder, Arnaud Bernard, Ignacio García, Michał Znaniecki, Max Emanuel Cenčić, Nikos Petropoulos, Katerina Filiotou, Marianna Calbari, Rodula Gaitanou, Angela Saroglou. She has performed in Thessaloniki Concert Hall, Athens Concert Hall, GNO, Odeon of Herodes Atticus, Olympia Municipal Music Theatre “Maria Callas”, Dresden State Opera, Volksbühne Berlin, Margravial Opera House (Bayreuth), Hessian State Theatre (Wiesbaden), Goethe Theatre (Bad Lauchstädt).
