Panagiotis Evangelidis

Born in Athens, Greece, where he studied law before becoming a translator of French, English, Spanish, and Japanese literature. He has translated Les Bonnes (Jean Genet) and I Am Blood (Jan Fabre), as well as several novels and essays. As a screenwriter, he co-wrote films directed by Panos Koutras, including Strella (Berlinale, 2009) and Xenia (Festival de Cannes, 2014, Un Certain Regard). He has also directed documentaries and art films such as They Glow in the Dark, Diptych: The Love That Dare Not Speak Its Name, and La Vraie Vie.
