Dimitra Mitropoulou

Born in Athens. She studied theatre at the Embros Drama School and Philosophy & History of Science at the University of Athens. She works as an actress and assistant director. She has collaborated with Natasha Triantafylli, Georgia Mavragani, George Sachinis, Irini Fanarioti, Anna Tzakou, Kostas Papakonstantinou, Aris Balis, Lefteris Yovanidis, Christos Stergioglou, Konstantin Bogomolov, Dimitris Xanthopoulos, Thanos Papakonstantinou, etc. She has participated in performances at National Theatre of Greece, Athens Epidaurus Festival, Greek National Opera, Onassis Stegi, Michael Cacoyannis Foundation, and in many theatres and festivals abroad. She also works as a dramaturg in the field of dance. She is a member of the U(r)topias Academy of Choreography, under the direction of Patricia Apergi, in the framework of the 2023 Eleusis Cultural Capital of Europe. She was movement coach for the opera The Magic Pillows and the performance Marshall Plan A Path of Perspectives.
