Alkisti Mamali

She was born in Athens where she now lives and works as a costume designer for cinema and the theatre. She studied set design at Wimbledon College of Arts and Central Saint Martins of the University of the Arts in London. She has collaborated with the directors Alexander Voulgaris, Yannis Veslemes, Rinio Dragasaki, Efthimis Kosemund Sanidis in cinematic productions and with Ektoras Lygizos for the plays: Noises Off (Onassis Stegi, 2018), The Tragedy of Hamlet, Prince of Denmark (Neos Kosmos Theatre, 2019), The School for Wives (Athens Epidaurus Festival, 2021). She has been nominated by the Hellenic Film Academy for the Iris Award for costume design for the films: Norway (dir. Yannis Veslemes, 2014), Tetarti 04:45 (dir. Alexis Alexiou, 2015), Thread (dir. Alexander Voulgaris, 2016), The Man with the Answers (dir. Stelios Kammitsis, 2021).
