GREEK NATIONAL OPERA ORCHESTRA CONCERTMASTER AUDITION (PERMANENT)

The Greek National Opera Orchestra will hold an audition for a Concertmaster post (permanent, 50% obligation) in October 2024.  

Information regarding the exact date of the audition, application requirements, orchestral excerpts etc. will be announced in the beginning of September as required by the Greek law and an updated announcement will follow on the official site of GNO  www.nationalopera.gr

The audition will take place at the GNO building, Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC), 364 Syggrou Ave., Athens, Kallithea 17674, Greece.

Repertoire requirements:

1. One of the following Concertos:

    W.A.Mozart: a) Concerto No.5 in A major, KV 219

                            b) Concerto No.4 in D major, KV 218

                            c) Concerto No.3 in G major, KV 216

2. A musical work of candidate’s choice

3. Orchestral excerpts (to be announced)

4. Prima Vista
