Update from the Greek National Opera

Following the Official Government Gazette Nº 4206/12-09-2021 v.b, which sets out emergency measures for the protection of public health against COVID-19, the Greek National Opera announces that its indoor venues at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (Stavros Niarchos Hall and Alternative Stage) will operate at a 85% capacity and only for persons vaccinated or recovered from COVID-19. To enter the venues, spectators have to present a valid certificate of vaccination or recovery from COVID-19.

More specifically, the GNO will operate at a 85% capacity for the following productions, for which tickets are already on sale:

– 7 Deaths of Maria Callas by Marina Abramović, at the Stavros Niarchos Hall

– Capodistrias: Monodrama of a secret life by Calliope Tsoupaki, on the Alternative Stage

– Kolokotronis Contemplates the Future. Women Are Preparing for the Revolution. And I’ll Be Thinking of Something by Michail Marmarinos and Akillas Karazisis, on the Alternative Stage.

As the tickets for the production 7 Deaths of Maria Callas by Marina Abramović are sold out, it is announced that the GNO will release extra tickets (up to 85% capacity) that will go on sale on Tuesday 14/9 at 21.00.
