GNO Alternative Stage's Intercultural Orchestra Concert

The Alternative Stage in collaboration with the Greek National Opera’s Department of Educational and Social Activities created a new Intercultural Orchestra. Permanent or temporary residents of Athens, professional and amateur musicians from all the communities of the city took part and lived a unique experience, creating a multinational repertory from the musical traditions of their countries of origin.

This repertory forms the main core of the programme which will be presented by the Greek National Opera’s Intercultural Orchestra in its first big concert at the courtyard of the Byzantine and Christian Museum. The audience will have the chance to enjoy traditional songs from the East and Greece.
