The Children’s Choir of the Greek National Opera inaugurates the Main Stage - 'Stavros Niarchos' Hall of its new building at the SNFCC with a wonderful New Year’s concert, under the direction of Mata Katsouli. Accompanied by a piano, and a small music ensemble, the Children’s Choir of the GNO will perform works by Schubert, Rossini, Rachmaninoff and Purcell, festive choral pieces in addition to Christmas hymns.

Imbuing the occasion with a symbolic character, the GNO chooses to open the New Year in its new premises, with its future leads, i.e. the children of its Children’s Choir.
