Rosa Cappon Poulimenou

Studied piano and music theory at the Corfu Conservatory and voice at the Athenaeum Conservatory. She continued her studies at the University of London and the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna. She was a scholar at the Music Academy of Villecroze, the International Music Academy Maurice Ravel and the Internationale Bachakademie Stuttgart. She also studied opera repertoire and vocal interpretation with Frangiscos Voutsinos, Rachel Yakar and Christa Ludwig. She has performed opera, oratorio, lied and contemporary music in Europe, Asia and the USA. As a soloist, she has collaborated with prestigious ensembles and orchestras such as the Melos Brass, the Athens and Thessaloniki State Orchestras, the Manhattan Philharmonia, the Municipality of Athens Symphony Orchestra, the Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation Symphony Orchestra and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra of London, and with conductors such as Miltos Logiadis, Lukas Karytinos, Helmuth Rilling, Antony Walker, Daniel Hoyem-Cavazza and Alessandro Ferrari. She has recorded songs and operas by Greek composers.
