Nikolas Pappas

Born in 2000, he began his piano and music theory lessons at the age of nine. He has won many awards in national piano competitions. In 2020 and 2021, he won the 1st prize at the UNESCO competition in the adult category and, in March 2023, he won the 2nd prize at the 5th Panhellenic Piano Competition of the Thessaloniki Piano Festival. He has participated in many piano seminars in Greece and abroad with Dimitris Toufexis, Dmitri Alexeev, Robert Levin, Michel Béroff. In October 2018 he started his undergraduate studies at the Mozarteum University of Salzburg with Rolf Plagge. In June 2022 he graduated with honours and was accepted for graduate studies in solo performance. He has performed with the Trikala Youth Symphony Orchestra, the Ioanna Syggelaki Symphony Orchestra, the Student Symphony Orchestra of the State Conservatory of Thessaloniki and the Athens Youth Symphony Orchestra.
