George Achladiotis

He is the founder and administrator of the non-profit civil partnership PANART and has collaborated with various municipalities such as Kallithea, Alimos, Corfu, the prefectures of Attica and Peloponnese, the Music Ensembles of the Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation and the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center. He compiled the file for the European Capital of Culture 2021 on behalf of the city of Volos. He wrote and directed the show The Blue Lamp with Marita Paparizou, about the life of Sophia Vembo. In October 2021 he performed the role of the Narrator at Kostas Moustakas’ opera The Gleaner, based on the short story of the same title by Alexandros Papadiamantis, for the Greek National Opera. This project was part of the Lyric South Festival and was also recorded. He co-directed Purcell’s opera Dido and Aeneas alongside Fotini Papathanasiou. He has been awarded by the Municipality of Athens for the production Lyric Septinsular at Megaron – The Athens Concert Hall, and by the Aetopouleion Foundation for his productions at the Rematia Festival, Chalandri.
